Anyway, the following strips are among the first of my "Mister Sausage" strips. I had been drawing for the Ka Leo (the University of Hawaii's school newspaper) for several years, and had just recently renamed the strip "Mister Sausage" and put in a new character- the guy with the spiky hair.

Basically, I wanted to center the strip more around college life, and other observations. I just didn't want my strip to suck so much. And so begins the story ...
