For October 2001 Still angry at the female species, my comics throughout October continued to reflect my bitterness at the time (hey man, I was single and lonely). I thought about the classic story - of the girl leaving her nice-guy boyfriend to hook up with that bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks... the classic story, of a girl giving it all up for a guy she was willing to take a chance on. I always thought that story was pure bullshit. And even worse, what about the guy she was leaving behind? I attempted to answer some of those questions in my comic strip. --May 12, 2003
