For September 2002 Commentary: It's all about the storylines, man. During my last few semesters, I decided to milk the concept of the storyline for all it was worth. I mean, think of it .. one idea produces several strips, producing more money, which means more beer. (I guess it would also encourage more regular readership or something like that, too). I'm acutally proud of some of these storylines; in particular, the one about the bird's bastard, half-ostrich son. Some of the editors didn't think it was that cool though, and there was one strip that was never run - where the bird's son finally learns to take a crap, shooting it all over the bird, to which he exclaims:
