For October 2002 Commentary: More storylines. And more people asking if they could be in my comic. By this time, I had started working at The Sharper Image. I found that one of our stock guys, Troy, had been a fan of my strip for some time. I was extremely honored to be able to meet a fan (I shit you not; I got ZERO feedback about my strip and had no idea what people thought of it). I wanted to put Troy in ... some of his stories about classes, and his pickup line ideas made their way into the strip, as did his friend Ben, another fan. It was around that time that I also ran into Katie again, who again, asked if she could be in the strip. I was happy to oblige, I mean, Katie's cool. Vanessa did get a little jealous, but who cares, she ended up skanking out on me in the end anyway, and is probably going to hook up with that guy. But I'm not bitter.
